Commission your pet portrait in an original watercolor, pen and ink painting.

Animal Portrait Sizes are: 5"x7" $45.00 8"x10 $100.00 11"x14" $150.00 16"x20" $225.00 These costs are for one pet in a watercolor, additional pets in same painting can be added for an additional charge. Cost of shipping is additional and is based on size and location. Contact the artist regarding prices.	10% of all my commission sales will go to help the ArfHouse of Chicago. You receive an original work of art depicting your furry loved one and shelter dogs in Chicago get supplies to make their life better while they await adoption. The ArfHouse in Chicago is doing great at reducing the homeless rate of animals. It is also where our little Nana was adopted from. We see first hand the work they do for the dogs.
Commissions for the pet or animal portraits are based off of good clear photographs of the pet or animal that you wish to be portrayed. The backgrounds are colorful and non-detailed like the paintings shown on this web site. You can either request a color of your choice, which the artist will work into the background. Or you can have the artist select an appropriate color that will work with the colors in the animal or pet. The better the photo, the better the painting. Close up photographs are best. The artist will not change the pose from that which is in the photograph, the pose that is in the photo is the pose that will be painted. The artist does not know what your individual pet or animal looks like from every angle.	Orders for commissioning a pet portrait can be done through my Artfire studio by the links below.
